EXPANSION PROJECT
AL-ILM Institute of Higher Islamic Education(AIHE)
As-salamu alaykum wa-rahmatullahi wa-barakatuh Al ILM families
Al-ILM has purchase the former St. Rita School’s building complex in front of the current AL-ILM (Masjid Quba) building located at 2907 Dunleer Rd. The complex consists of 3 buildings with a total 42,300 sq. feet of covered area. Complex also consists of more than 125 parking spaces.
1. First building is convent of former St. Rita School. This will be used as our darul uloom building and hostel for the students.
2. Second building is gym/auditorium. It has basket ball court and a community hall with operational commercial kitchen. Our plan is to have a Gym, basket ball court and multi purpose hall in this building. The multipurpose hall will be used for community gatherings.
3. This building has a total covered area of 23,500 sq feet. It has 15 class rooms. Our plan is to have a full time Islamic school from Grade 1 to Grade 12 in this building
We plan to renovate -ILM new building complex in the following phases.
Phase 1
Clean and secure the building. Make GYM and basketball court (2) operational. Repair the roof. Install new lights
Phase 2
Complete the Renovation of the Darul Uloom building (1).
Phase 3
Renovate community hall with commercial kitchen (2)
Phase 4
Renovate school building (3) with 20 class rooms, 10 restrooms, commercial kitchen and cafeteria
